Reese group receives several different errors in quickbooks most common are 505 and 8505. According to quickbooks these are common issues and occur due to a magnitude of reasons. Due to the causes being so widespread and it being most common when QB files are shared between multiple people narrowing down which PC is causing the issue is nearly impossible. When they receive this error you need to run a repair on the QB data files.
1. Remote into NASH-FILE (credentials in lastpass)
2. Open the Quickbooks Database Server Manager (run as admin)
3. Highlight the E:\Accounting option in the screenshot below and click the start scan option. This should take no more than 5 minutes.
4. Have user test to verify issues resolved.
If issues persists after this further troubleshooting with QuickBooks support will be necessary.
